Lazare Carnot


 

Lazare Nicolas Marguerite Carnot (Nolay, May 13, 1753 - Magdeburg, August 22, 1823) was a French politician and mathematician. He is best know for his role as "Organizer of Victory" in the French Revolutionary Wars.
