Layer Cake is a 2004 British gangster thriller, directed by Matthew Vaughn. It is based on a novel of the same name, written by J.J.Connelly.

The film has been compared to both Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, as all three films focus on British gangsters. Layer Cake is significantly different though, despite having the same producer.
