Lawrenceville is a census-designated place and village located in Lawrence Township in Mercer County, New Jersey. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 4,081. It is located halfway between Princeton and Trenton.

Lawrenceville is home to The Lawrenceville School, a private boarding school founded in 1810. The township is also home to the headquarters of Bristol-Myers Squibb's Pharmaceutical Research Institute (the corporate headquarters of BMS is located in New York City), the Lenox corporation, Rider University, and Educational Testing Service's headquarters.
