Lawrence of Brindisi

Saint Lawrence of Brindisi (July 22, 1559 – July 22, 1619), born Julio Cesare Rossi, was a Roman Catholic monk, a member of the Order of Friars Minor, Capuchin. He was beatified in 1783, canonized in 1881, and declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope John XXIII in 1959. His feast day is July 21.
