Laurent de Brunhoff

Laurent de Brunhoff (born August 30, 1925) is a French author and illustrator.

He was born in Paris. After studying fine arts at the Académie de La Grande Chaumière, he took the pen of his father, Jean de Brunhoff, Babar's author. After the war, he began not only illustrating and writing more stories about Babar, but also making some posters, disk sleeves and characters for cartoon films. Since 1985, he has lived in United States.
