Latur
Latur is both a district and an important city in Maharashtra, India. It has a vast table of land and is situated 636 metres above sea level. Latur is one of the leading commercial centers in Maharashtra and is a very fast growing town. Latur has temples dedicated to Siddheshwar, Ramlingeshwar, Papivinash Bhuteshwar, Ram, Keshavaraj Datta and Ambabai. It is connected with all major cities.

Latur has an airport of its own which is used for landing of private planes and helicopters. Though there are no commercial flights going out of Latur. In the beginning of December 2005, outbound commercial flights are expected to start flying to destinations like Bombay and Hyderabad.
