Las Animas, Colorado

Las Animas is a city located in Bent County, Colorado. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,758. It is the county seat of Bent County{{GR|6}}. Las Animas, located in southewast Colorado, is east of Pueblo, near Bent's Fort. Las Animas is home to the Kit Carson Museum.
