Larvik
Larvik is a municipality in the county of Vestfold, Norway. The municipality covers an area of 530 km². The district also includes the villages Stavern, Nevlunghavn, Helgeroa, Kvelde, Hvarnes and Tjølling. Other notable places are the lake Farris and the river Numedalslågen, locally called Lågen, which terminates in the fjord of Larvik. A source of fresh water located below the city's beech tree forest also bears the name Farris. At Kaupang lie the remains of Sciringes heal - Norway's first town.
