Larry MacPhail
Leland Stanford "Larry" MacPhail, Sr. (born 3 February 1890 in Cass City, Michigan - died 1 October 1975 in Miami, Florida) was an American executive and innovator in Major League Baseball. During his career he served as the chief executive of the Cincinnati Reds, the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the New York Yankees. His innovations include nighttime baseball, regular game televising and the flying of teams between games. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1978; his son Lee MacPhail was elected to the Hall in 1998, making them the only father and son inductees.
