Lane Davies

Lane Davies (born July 31, 1950) is an American actor. He was born in Dalton, Georgia.

His most well-known role is that of Mason Capwell on the now-defunct soap opera Santa Barbara. He played the role from the show's debut in July 1984 until April 1989. He left after a series of arguments with co-star Nancy Lee Grahn. When he first left the show, he was noted as saying that his departure from daytime was permanent. He took a six-month around-the-world tour and returned to the United States in February 1990.
