Kroger Co. is an American retail grocery store chain, founded by Barney Kroger in 1883 in Cincinnati, Ohio. It has over 56 billion dollars in sales per year, and is the top grocery retailer in the country, and third place general retailer in the country, with Wal-mart and Home Depot filling slots one and two, respectively.
