Kristjan Raud (properly: Kristian Raud; October 22 (Old Style: October 10), 1865 Kirikuk?la, Viru-Jaagupi Parish, Estonia - May 19, 1943, Tallinn) was an Estonian painter and drawer. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ His parents were Jaan Raud and his wife Henriette Loviisa Raud. Kristian had a twilling brother (Paulus; Paul Raud) who was born on October 23 and would become a painter as well. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
