Kokomo is a city located in Howard County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 46,113. The city is the county seat of Howard County{{GR|6}}. Kokomo is Indiana's 11th largest city.

  • 1894 - Elwood Haynes makes the first successful trial run of his "Horseless Carriage" on Pumpkinvine Pike.
