In 1996 Greater Media would swap KLSX for WMMR in Philadelphia so Greater Media could own a larger cluster in Philadelphia while exiting Los Angeles. So in 1996 KLSX became a CBS station joining KTWV and KCBS FM. In 1997 CBS merged with Infinity. On April 1, 2002, KLSX temporarily brought back Kato Kaelin and the "Real Radio" slogans and jingles as part of an April Fool's joke.
