Klein Independent School District

Klein Independent School District is a school district that serves unincorporated portions of northern Harris County, Texas, including the community of Klein. Some areas with Spring postal designations are also served by the district. A small portion of Houston is served by Klein ISD. Klein ISD covers 81.5 square miles of land.

Klein ISD is part of the taxation base for North Harris Montgomery Community College District.

In 2005, KISD enrolled refugees from the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina who were residing in northwest Harris County. The Spring Tabernacle shelter is within KISD boundaries.
