Kitana is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Princess Kitana is 10,000 years old, although she appears to be in her twenties and early thirties. She looks like a young, elegant female who often wears tight blue garments. Through the storyline of the games, she has risen to great importance, first as stepdaughter of Shao Kahn, tearing herself away from his grasp and freeing Edenia, then leading an army into Outworld herself. Kitana combines features of discipline, intelligence, loving and perseverance. There was a subtle love interest between her and Earthrealm champion Liu Kang, until he was murdered by the Deadly Alliance.
