King Serket, translating to King Scorpion or sometimes The Scorpion King, was a king of Upper Egypt during the Protodynastic Period who ruled from about 3150 BC to 3125 BC. His name may refer to the goddess Serket. It is thought by many archaeologists that the king is identical with Narmer.
