Killer (album)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Killer is the 1971 effort by Alice Cooper. At this time, Alice Cooper still referred to the band and not just the lead singer. Cooper said on a later album, Fistful of Alice, that the song Desperado was written about Jim Morrison of The Doors, who died the same year this album was released. Desperado, along with Under My Wheels and Be My Lover, often appear on compilation albums by Cooper. The song Dead Babies is one in Cooper's "shock rock" arsenal along with others from other albums such as "I Love the Dead".
