Kevin Tighe

Kevin Tighe (born August 13, 1944 in Los Angeles) is an American actor best remembered for his role as Roy DeSoto in the TV series Emergency! (1972-1978). His first film appearance was a bit role in The Graduate after which he served a stint in the US Army. He would continue in his acting career, working for Paramount Pictures when he got the role in Emergency!.

Since this time he has had several guest appearances in other television series, including Adam-12, The Love Boat, Murder She Wrote, and '. On Lost, he has appeared as the father of John Locke (Terry O'Quinn). He has also appeared in several movies, notably Road House, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, I Love a Man in Uniform and Escape to Witch Mountain.
