Kevin Sorbo

Kevin Sorbo (born September 24, 1958) is an American actor. Born in Mound, Minnesota and educated at then-Moorhead State University he worked as a model for print and television advertising before landing the role of Hercules in '. After the cancellation of Hercules, he played the starring role of Captain Dylan Hunt in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda from 2000 to 2005. He has been considered for and lost out on a number of major roles including ' and The X-Files. He did, however star in the movie Kull the Conqueror. He married actress Sam Jenkins in 1998.
