The Kenyon Review is an American literary journal. The first volume of The Kenyon Review appeared during the winter of 1939, publishing early works by generations of important writers, including Robert Penn Warren, Ford Madox Ford, Robert Lowell, Delmore Schwartz, Flannery O'Connor, Boris Pasternak, Robert Lowell, Bertold Brecht, Peter Matthew Hillsman Taylor, Dylan Thomas, Anthony Hecht, Maya Angelou, Rita Dove, Lewis Hyde, Derek Walcott, Woody Allen, Louise Erdrich, and Ha Jin.

The journal is published at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. David Lynn, Professor of English at Kenyon College, is the present editor. The first editor was John Crowe Ransom, who served from 1939-1959.
