Kent is a city located in Portage County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 27,906. Kent is home to the main campus of Kent State University.
Interesting facts
- In 1995, the city of Kent's municipal (tap) water won first place at the fifth annual Toast to the Tap International Water Tasting and Competition held in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
