- James Ransone as Tate, who is brimming with psychotic rage.
- James Bullard as Shawn, who seems to be the most conventional.
- Tiffany Limos as Peaches, who looks after her devoutly religious father, but yearns for freedom.
- Stephen Jasso as Claude, who is habitually harassed by his brutish father and coddled, rather uncomfortably, by his enormously pregnant mother.
The film contains graphic scenes of explicit sexual behavior, and portrays suicide, murder, parental violence, alcoholism, smoking cannabis (drug), incestuous sexual assault by a homophobic father of his sleeping son, BDSM, autoerotic asphyxiation, religious fanaticism, a fake marriage of a father with his daughter, a boy having sex with his girlfriend's mother, and at the end an idyllic sex scene with two of the boys and the girl.
