Keir Dullea (born May 30, 1936) is an actor best remembered for his role as astronaut David Bowman in the 1968 film '.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was raised in the Greenwich Village section of New York City where his parents ran a bookstore. His made film debut in 1961's The Hoodlum Priest, in which he played a juvenile delinquent. He played an emotionally disturbed youth in a number of films, including David and Lisa (1962) and Bunny Lake is Missing (1965). He has yet to match the film success of 2001.
