Kayak (band)

Kayak, founded during the early 1970s, is a Dutch art rock band. Their first album (See see the sun) is still considered one of the best examples of Dutch symphonic prog. Later albums showed a tendency towards more pop-oriented art rock, culminating in their greatest hit in the Netherlands (Ruthless queen). In the early eighties, they called it quits. More than 15 years later, they reformed and produced a number of new albums, with the absolute highlight Merlin - Bard of the unseen.
