From June 28, 2002 until her final appearance on August 3, 2005, she was asked to play the role of Mrs. Edna Wallace (mother to Kelli McCarty's character, Beth Wallace) on Passions. The most notable aspect of this role is that her character was very old and wheelchair-bound; 57-year-old Noone was quoted at the time as saying that it was very liberating to act and not have to wear makeup. Her character was later given an extreme makeover by Tabitha Lenox (Juliet Mills) and in her last episode, Edna went on a welcome board sign of Harmony in the tsuanmi waves and skipped out of town during the earthquake and tsunami disasters and then later make a wild exit to an unknown location.
