Karl Menninger
Karl Menninger (1893-1990) was an American Psychiatrist and a member of the famous Menninger family of psychiatrists who founded the Menninger Foundation and the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas. The Menninger Foundation was also involved ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The Capital City School building is named after Karl Menninger and a bust of Karl Menninger, along with a collection of his ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ personal books reside in the school library. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In early 2003, the Foundation moved the clinic from Topeka to Houston, Texas forming a partnership with the Baylor College of Medicine and The Methodist Hospital. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
