  • Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh

  • Seeking their first ever win at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium, the Browns are denied again on a Terry Bradshaw to Lynn Swann touchdown with eleven seconds left, 16-13. It marks the Browns 11th consecutive defeat in Pittsburgh.
  • Week 15 vs. the Minnesota Vikings

  • The Browns relinquish a 23-14 lead with 1:35 remaining. The game is most remembered for the deflected "Hail Mary" pass which was caught by Ahmad Rashad as time expired.
  • Week 16 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals

  • Needing a win to secure the division title, the Browns hold off the Bengals 27-24, with the winning points coming on Don Cockroft's field goal with 1:25 left.
  • AFC Divisional playoff vs. the Oakland Raiders

  • In sub-zero conditions, the Browns and Raiders battle it out to the final seconds. Cleveland trails, 14-12, but has the ball at the Oakland 13yard line with less than a minute remaining. Then came Red Right 88 and the end of the dream.
