Kanpur

Kānpur (known as Cawnpore before 1948) is the most populous city in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

G.S.V.M.Medical College, named after the local martyr Sri Ganesh Shanker Vidyarthi, who sacrificed his life at the altar of communal frenzy during communal riots in 1939.This is U>P>'s second largest medical college after that of Lucknow, and has a large group of hospitals attached to it.
