Kaiapoi


 
 

Kaiapoi is a town in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand, located close to the mouth of the Waimakariri River.

It is located approximately 15 kilometres north of Christchurch. The Kaiapoi River and State Highway 1, which is a motorway at this point, pass through the town.
