Jurong is a constituency and town of Singapore, located in the western part of the mainland, in the West Region.

In 1963, the then Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, made Jurong the initial constituency on his first visit to constituencies in the Republic. At the time, Jurong was without a citizen's consultative committee. However, this fact did not deter them. Instead, they responded through its community leaders.
