Juazeiro
Juazeiro (or Juàzeiro) is a city in eastern Brazil in the state of Bahia. It has a population of 198,065, according to the 2004 census, and has an area of 6,389 km2. Although it sits along the São Francisco River and the Curaçá River, the city is semi-desert and gets an annual precipitation of only 399 mm.
