JSP Records
JSP Records is a record label which obtains public domain jazz and blues recordings and releases remastered versions of them on CD. Their release of Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives and Sevens recordings is often considered to be one of the most essential jazz releases available.

JSP tends to have quite good remastered sound. It depends on the source of course. The old Paramount recordings (Patton, Blake, ect) are rather rough - but JSP still sounds good compared to the competition. For major label releases from the late 20s or 30s, the sound can be quite fine (Goodman, Mctell, Rodgers, etc).
