The Journal of the American Chemical Society (usually abbreviated as J. Am. Chem. Soc., or JACS), is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published since 1879 by the American Chemical Society. It publishes original research papers in all fields of chemistry. According to Institute for Scientific Information statistics, JACS is the journal with the most citations in this field.
