Jour de Fête (Jacques Tati)
Jour de fete (1949) is a largely silent comedy from the French comic Jacques Tati. The thin storyline concerns a postman going about his daily routine in 1940s rural France. It is notable for being filmed mainly in black-and-white, with occasional short bursts of colour.
