Josh Smith

Joshua Smith (born December 5 1985 in Los Angeles, California) plays guard and forward for the National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks.

He was selected with the 17th pick by the Hawks in the 2004 NBA Draft out of Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. In his rookie season he was best known for his high leaping ability when attempting slam dunks. Smith won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during the 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend. He did so whilst wearing a Dominique Wilkins throwback jersey.
