Joseph Simmons
Joseph "Run" Simmons, a.k.a. Reverend Run (b. November 14, 1964 in Jamaica, Queens) was one of the founding members of hip hop group Run-DMC. Simmons was one of the lead vocalists of the group, along with co-founder and friend Darryl "DMC" McDaniels. The group's work is considered by many to be inventive and original, using numerous revolutionary styles, including the work of DJ Jam Master Jay.

Rev Run recently completed his first solo album, titled Distortion. The first single from the album, Mind On the Road, will be featured in EA Sports Madden NFL 2006.

In September 2005, Simmons, under the stage name of 'Rev Run' featured on a single release from UK pop band Liberty X, titled "Song For Lovers."
