Joseph Massart
Lambert Joseph Massart (July 19, 1811 – February 13, 1892) was a Belgian violinist.

He was born in Liège, Belgium. Despite being sponsored by the king, he was not accepted at the Paris Conservatoire. He became a private pupil of Rodolphe Kreutzer. He was accepted as a Professeur at the Paris Conservatoire in 1843, where he subsequently taught for 47 years.

He performed Beethoven's Kreutzer sonata with Liszt.
