Josef Gingold
Josef Gingold (1909-1995) was born in Russia, and emigrated to the United States in 1920 where he studied violin with Vladimir Graffman. In 1937 he won a spot in the NBC Symphony Orchestra, and later was the Cleveland Orchestra?s concertmaster.He has edited so many violin technique books including ones by Mazas and Kayser.
