Johnson City, Texas

Johnson City is a city located in Blanco County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,191. It is the county seat of Blanco County{{GR|6}}. It was the hometown of President Lyndon Johnson and was founded by his grandfather. The Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park (operated by the National Park Service) is near Johnson City.
