Johnny Moore

John Brian "Johnny" Moore was a basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He spent his entire career playing point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, save one game for the New Jersey Nets. Towards the end of his relatively short career, he was diagnosed with Valley Fever, a fungal infection that can cause meningitis. It was thought that this malady would end his career, if not endanger his life. He made a full recovery, enough so to return to the Spurs to resume his career, albeit briefly. Over 520 games in his career, Moore averaged 9.4 points per game, 7.4 assists per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 1.96 steals per game, and made his field goals at a .460 rate. He is currently 15th all time in assists per game.
