John Wiley & Sons
John Wiley & Sons, Inc. is a well-known publishing company specializing in reference books. The business began in 1807 when Charles Wiley opened a printing shop in Manhattan which published law books in its early years and went on to publish current literary works. Under his son John, it adopted its present name in 1875 and added scientific and technical works to its repertoire. Today, it has more than 3,500 employees worldwide.
