John Hockenberry
John Hockenberry (b. 4 June 1957) is a paraplegic American correspondent for NBC television. He has won four Emmy awards and three Peabody Awards.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio, and lost the use of his legs in an auto accident at the age of 19. He attended the University of Chicago and the University of Oregon.

He had a fifteen year career in journalism at National Public Radio, where he was a Middle East correspondent , reporting the Persian Gulf War in 1991 and 1992. He also worked for ABC News and before joining Dateline NBC as a correspondent in 1996. He reported the Kosovo War in 1999. His weekly radio commentaries have been heard for the past eight years on the nationally broadcast public radio program The Infinite Mind.
