John Hervey, Lord Hervey
John Hervey, Lord Hervey (October 13, 1696 - August 5, 1743), English statesman and writer, was the eldest son of John Hervey, 1st Earl of Bristol, by his second marriage. He was known by the courtesy title Lord Hervey from birth, but never received the Earldom of Bristol, as he predeceased his father.
