John Haden Badley
John Haden Badley (February 21, 1865 - March 6, 1967), author, educator, founder of Bedales School - which claims to have become the first coeducational public boarding school in England in 1893. The Scottish Dollar Academy claims to be the first co-educational boarding school in the UK (in 1818). Co-educational classes have existed since medieval times.
