John Froines

John Froines, chemist and ant-war activist, most noted as a member of of the Chicago Seven (or Chicago Eight, if Bobby Seale is included), charged for involvment with the riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago.

Froines, who held a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yale, was charged with making incediary devices. He was aquitted.
