John Flamsteed
John Flamsteed, (19 August,1646 - 31 December,1719) was an English astronomer.
Honours
- Elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1676.
- Flamsteed crater on the Moon is named after him.
- John Flamsteed Community School in Denby, Derbyshire has been named after him.
