John Dahl is a film director and screenwriter. Dahl, raised in Billings, Montana, is known for directing some successful neo-noir films including Kill Me Again with Val Kilmer and Red Rock West with Nicholas Cage. Both Red Rock West and The Last Seduction were released to cable television before their releases in theaters. Because of that, The Last Seduction's femme fatale actress Linda Fiorentino famously was not eligible to receive an Oscar for her performance. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
