John Banville
John Banville is an Irish novelist, born December 8, 1945 in Wexford. He was shortlisted for the 1989 Booker Prize (Book of Evidence), and won the Guinness Peat Aviation Award the same year. His latest novel,(The Sea), has been shortlisted for the 2005 Booker Prize.
