John Banner
John Banner (born January 28, 1910 in Vienna, Austria; died January 28, 1973 in Vienna) was an Austrian actor. He was best known for his role as Sgt. Schulz on Hogan's Heroes. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Lucky for him, the time which he spent in the concentration camp, Nazi policies had not yet changed. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ John Banner's film credits include over 40 films and over 70 television appearances including Mr. Ed, The Partridge Family, The Lucy Show and Perry Mason. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Banner passed away of an abdominal hemorrhage on his birthday in 1973. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
